These fans are industrial units, with sealed motors that prevent dust and hay particles from getting into the motor, which can cause a barn fire.
Heaves and other respiratory ailments are caused by inhaling unhealthy particles of dust, dander and pollen. Mold spores and high levels of ammonia are also common barn issues, and horse stall fans can help you by reducing exposure levels.
